What does checklisted means? I'm new to this, don't know all of the language yet. I know my husband will have to get a new one for the interview regardless, but I'm wondering if NVC take the expire one anyway. It'll only be expire maybe 3weeks before they get it.

Just be mindful, it took me almost three weeks to even get a case number from the time my I-130 was approved. I've only just sent off my Affidavit of Support and we don't yet have an invoice for the Visa Application. I would probably order a new one as the one you have will likely expire before you have a case number with the Visa Center.

Good luck!

In the I130 you may get an RFE for some documents they want from you. I turned my packet in but they wanted one more document from me (which I was pretty much knew they'd ask for). It was taking ages to secure this document so I went ahead and sent my packages.

If you don't have everything they want from you with the AoS or 230, they will send a checklist of what documents you need to submit before case complete.

Dear Principal Applicant:

The immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now eligible for further processing at the

National Visa Center (NVC). You will need the following identification numbers to carry out the next

steps in the immigration process:

Your NVC Case Number:

Your Invoice I.D. Number:

Your Beneficiary I.D. Number:

Keep this letter in a safe place.

You will need the identification numbers again during the immigration process.

The first stage of visa processing is to establish communication with the NVC by registering an agent

and your agent's contact information with the NVC. Your agent is a person you choose to receive

communications from the NVC on your behalf. You may act as your own agent, or you may choose your

petitioner, a family member, a friend, an attorney, an immigrant assistance professional, or any other

person you trust to represent you.

Hi!

I'm also thinking for my mom to have an advance medical exam in the Philippines. Have you make an appointment for your mom? I just wanna make sure that this letter you've attached is enough to make an appointment for medical exam. I would be grateful to hear from you. I'm so excited to bring my mom here..(",)

Good luck for our moms journey!

If you decide to register another person as your agent, the NVC strongly recommends choosing a person

with e-mail capability and a postal mailing address in the U.S.A. because postal mail delivery can be

unreliable in some parts of the world. If you act as your own agent the NVC recommends e-mail as the

quickest and most efficient form of communication.

I've not done that yet, I have to wait till NVC completes my case. Yes, this letter will suffice according to the www.slec.ph website. Goodluck to both of us :)
