Another question for DS-260 - How many previous employers?

I only had 3 previous employers, so I'm not sure, but if it's like the DS-230, then it's all employers for the last 10 years.

dear Saylin i hope you can help me with that thank god i have got approved about a week ago and i'm waiting for the NVC to receive my approved i-130 my visa category would definitely be IR-2 i have searched all over the net for information of what kind of forms and papers i need to send to the NVC all i know is that i will submit i-864W and i'm not sure about the Ds-230 i would really appreciate if you can tell me what kind of papers i need to send in order to get ready from now thanks in advance awaiting your kind reply.

The IR-2 category sends the same documents as the IR-1/CR-1 at NVC (DS-3032, AOS package, IV package) and pays the same bills. So go back to posts 1 and 2 and read all the guides and the FAQ. It'll be the same process, just with a child instead of a spouse.

I'm not too sure. It's either a mis-print (where that new A number was meant for the beneficiary) or you got a new A number.

I'm not entirely sure when the beneficiary gets assigned an A number. I had gotten one assigned to me when I first got denied at the airport. I then used that number on our paperwork for the I-130 petition. The NOA1 and NOA2 both reflected this number. Used it on the rest of the paperwork at NVC. But, interestingly, once I got my visa after the approved interview, I had a brand new, different A number. Keep in mind, it's possible to get more than one A number assigned to you (like in my case).

I would suggest calling up USCIS next week when they're open and inquiring about it. See if it was an error, or they gave you a new A number.

My husband is on his way home from visiting me, we got our NVC case number and IIN number while he was here, he will pay the AOS bill tomorrow and ring them with my email address. Then I can send my choice of agent email. He already has everything ready for the IV package so we are hoping it will run smoothly from here. He is going to speak to a supervisor tomorrow, because for some reason I am referred to by my exhusband's surname in the emails he had when we got our case number. We do not understand why they chose to use the incorrect surname, when our petition clearly shows my married name.

Fyi tomorrow is a federal holiday so the NVC will be closed and reopen on Tuesday

Hey all! I just got approved for my i130 on Feb 16 and I have all my documents ready to go. However, the police certificate is due to expire on the 21st of Feb. Do I send it in anyway with my packet, and then have my husband bring a new one when he goes in for his interview? Or do I just have him send me another Pcc, which will delay our process at NVC? Thanks in advance guys!

Thanks, the date will have slipped his mind while he was in the UK, one more day is just one day.....I just hope we get to the end of this process soon x

Its going to happen to mine too. Ours expires every 3 months. This is the 2nd one we've got. I'm hoping they'll deal with this one until the interview.

Anyone else know definitely?

Now I sent in the last thing we needed but I know it expires sometime this month. I hope they'll wait for the interview which will probably happen after a new one would expire anyways, if they: checklisted me again + wait time for mailing + sending it again + review time + wait for interview date.

What does checklisted means? I'm new to this, don't know all of the language yet. I know my husband will have to get a new one for the interview regardless, but I'm wondering if NVC take the expire one anyway. It'll only be expire maybe 3weeks before they get it.

Today its monday here in sg waiting on tuesday previously I like weekend than weekdays. After NVC journey thats the time I will look forward for weekends. I hope its already Tuesday so I can start to follow up for my case number I hope there will be a good news to all of us

I too am calling NVC every single day since a week and being told that the case is still being uploaded to the computer. Hope to get my case number and move to the next steps soon. I am so tired of being alone without my wife - I'm sure a lot of you feel that way too.
