Hello (even though I am not Saylin, hehe I know the answer!)

the Beneficiary ID you receive it from NVC operators :thumbs: you just call and ask for it

How do you guys know when NVC received your case? Will automated system tell me that the case has been received but no case number assigned?

You need to speak with an operator and they will tell you when NVC received your case. The first times you call they might tell you that your case is not in the system yet, but once it is, they will tell you the exact date when they received it at NVC :yes:

The beneficiary ID is needed only for those doing online forms (DS-261 and DS-260). Since you're not eligible for these, don't worry about the BIN.

It's also listed in the first piece of correspondence you receive from NVC. It lists the case number, IIN, and then the BIN (whether you're eligible to use it or not).

Call them up! There is no more automated system no0pb.gif It was taken away early last year.

We are in the same boat DenMar_S,I completed the DS-261 (the same as Ds3032) the same day as you sent yours, and I'm still waiting for an approval e-mail -_- *sigh*

Monday is President's day so I think unfortunately for us, it's a holiday and NVC will be closed :(

Hopefully by tuesday we get something!!!! :)

I was given a checklist by the NVC for an NL police certificate...which of course i cannot obtain. i was curious as to how many other also need NL certificates, How did you handle the situation?
