I been calling twice in NvC since monday. both representatives telling must be 15 working day before going into the system but I see some they got it their case number on the 10th day when they got approved. And one representative telling because of the bad weather hit them last week some approvals they still have not get it. I just wish I can get mine within the week calling overseas its very expensive even using a phone card. me and hubby calling alternately but keeping us hold its really long try to do other things while keeping me hold for 30 minutes.

Have you considered using Skype?

Should I be worried that we haven't received our hardcopy NOA2 yet? I need it to get the Japanese police certificates.

Where is it being sent?

I called NVC just now and I was told to ignore the checklist cover letter...not really too happy about it until I get the IV bill. Is anyone been waiting for the IV bill too?

Why aren't you happy about the AOS package being accepted? blink.gif

And again, your Choice of Agent form was JUST accepted this morning. Nothing happens instantly at NVC. You need to give it a day or two before the IV is invoiced.

Ok, thanks...I guess I have to give it a few more days and hopefully we will receive an email acknowledging they have received the AOS package as well.

Not receiving the auto-generated email isn't a big deal. I didn't get one either for one of my packages...

Have you called up USCIS to ask? Did you move between when you filed the petition and it was approved? Do you usually have problems receiving mail?

I know there is difference between the two, no need for a dictionary....This wasn't an auto response, this was the 3rd email she received from them, ok maybe it's not reviewed yet as I know it's too soon for it to be reviewed at this point, but they don't mention anything about scanned pictures in an auto response since the computer generates that email, somebody actually looked in that package to notice the scanned pictures. Thanks anyways though :)

These are form emails and I believe auto-generated once a certain box is checked off while a file is being received and that particular part put into their system. I'm pretty sure of that. Even though they've got a signature and someone's name attached to them. I would get them, 3 at a time in the wee hours of the morning. I know that "Star" and "Annie" aren't sitting in the office sending me mail at 1:40am. These would say that they had received such-and-such a document and to allow 20 days for the documents to be reviewed. I never once received an email saying that anything was accepted.

I did get false checklists including the scanned photos checklist. Keep in mind, someone is checking off boxes saying what is missing or needed and then hitting SEND at the bottom of a page on a computer. That message gets auto-generated with the name of that person and then sent to the queue to make its way out of their system and into our eager inboxes. So although it isn't the auto-response stating that our email had been received, it's pretty close.

Have you called up USCIS to ask? Did you move between when you filed the petition and it was approved? Do you usually have problems receiving mail?

My husband is going to call up this afternoon. We didn't move as far as I know, and we usually get mail really quickly from abroad/never had any problems.

Since the AOS and IV are two separate tracks, they do NOT need to be sent together. They can be though, but it's not necessary.

Oh, if you're living abroad, it might take longer than usual. How soon did you get the NOA1 after you filed the petition?

ok thanks :)

Sorry if I missed it somewhere but did you send both packages in the SAME email? Or did you send each one as an individual package? AOS package and then Supporting Docs for DS-260?

I didn't send the emails myself, the clerk at my attorney's office did. She sent TWO different emails, one for AOS and for the IV, then she forwarded two auto response emails yesterday evening, one was sent at 6:30 and one was sent at 7:00, so I figured ok she must have sent both packages since she received two auto responses.

This morning she forwarded another email to me, which was sent from NVC at 7:15 am stating that they have received the correspondence and said something about the scanned images, when I looked closer I saw that she had sent another email to NVC at 10pm last night, and I wasn't sure why she would do that since she had already sent them earlier. I then asked her if she has received a separate email acknowledging the AOS package and she forwarded her own email to me, the email she had sent to NVC at 9:23 pm...

She's walking on my nerves, I emailed her multiple times asking her to send me the two packages as an attachement and she ignores it every time. I don't know what else to do. I just wanted the packages on my OWN computer in case I need to resend them. You see where my frustration lies in having to chase after her...

I called NVC and asked them to send every email they need to send to myself instead of the attorney.

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Morocco
Timeline

Since the AOS and IV are two separate tracks, they do NOT need to be sent together. They can be though, but it's not necessary.

Yay! I will send it in because I still need to save a few buck to pay the IV bill.

The DS 3032 email says the type of visa is IR1 so this means he will get the 10yr card when he enters the US, correct?

Yup, if you've been married for over two years, then you get an IR-1 visa, meaning a 10 year green card, and you skip the ROC process 2 years after immigrating to the US. Saves you $600!
