I been calling twice in NvC since monday. both representatives telling must be 15 working day before going into the system but I see some they got it their case number on the 10th day when they got approved. And one representative telling because of the bad weather hit them last week some approvals they still have not get it. I just wish I can get mine within the week calling overseas its very expensive even using a phone card. me and hubby calling alternately but keeping us hold its really long try to do other things while keeping me hold for 30 minutes.

Checklist cover letter,

Dear XXXXX

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

Please read the enclosed information to determine where to send all required copies of missing

documents. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please call the National Visa Center at (603)

334-0700 between the hours of 7:30am and midnight ET.

Please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence and write your case number clearly (exactly

as it appears below) on the upper right-hand corner of all documents.

From the date you mail or transmit the requested information, please allow 20 business days for NVC to

review this documentation/your mail. When we complete our review, the NVC will notify

you/petitioner/beneficiary/attorney with information regarding the next processing step.

If a period of one year passes without contacting the NVC (by e-mail, telephone, or mail), all

submitted fees and documents will expire. Upon expiration, the fees and documents would need to

be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

We are waiting for the form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) that was previously

sent to the beneficiary. This form tells us how to contact the beneficiary

during the immigrant visa process.

The agent selected by the beneficiary can be the petitioner, another

relative, a friend, an attorney, or a charitable organization, such as a

church or other immigrant assistance organization. Mail delivery is often

unreliable in many parts of the world, so we strongly suggest that the

beneficiary choose someone who has an address in the United States.

It is acceptable that the beneficiary not name an agent and have us

contact him/her directly. If the beneficiary is unable to locate a copy of this

form, he/she may notify the NVC via a letter or an email, which indicates

his/her choice.

Regardless of the beneficiary's choice, the beneficiary must notify us of

his/her choice before we may continue processing this file. In the event

that the beneficiary is under the age of sixteen, it is acceptable to have the

beneficiary's parent or guardian sign the form.

Ok, good because I freaked out when I saw only the case number in the subject line...well, I'll paste a section of the email she received from NVC.

[...]

that's why I figured this might be an acceptance email since it says we have received your correspondence, but it's weird that they only sent ONE email as they were TWO packages sent :(

I'll tell you why I'm stressing out, yesterday after she told me she sent the packages, she forwarded me TWO auto response emails from NVC, the first one was sent at 6:24 and the second one was sent at 6:54 PM, so I figured ok two emails sent!

but today when I opened the email she has sent me, it has another email she sent to the NVC at 9:54 PM yesterday and that's confusing as to why she needed to send another email at 9:54, I emailed her asking if she has received a separate email of acceptance for the AOS package, but I don't want to call her since over the last few days I called and emailed her multiple times, I am kind of embarrased to be honest lol

There's a HUGE difference between ACCEPTANCE and RECEIVING. Think it's time to crack open a dictionary. Receiving means just that, they simply received your package. Acceptance means they reviewed your case and accepted it. What you received was just an auto-generated email NVC sends out when they receive your package. Means nothing more than that.

And don't be scared or embarrassed to call her. You're paying THEM money.

Another day, no case number. The guy was helpful in telling me that it's actually being processed and uploaded into the system, as opposed to... it's still sitting in a giant pile waiting.

The snow there is still terrible, he tells me.

It's still terrible here too in South Dakota. I tried getting to school on an un-plowed road and I got stuck :( Couple of hours later and our road STILL isn't plowed headbonk.gif

The snow is mostly gone in Chicago and the surrounding area... too much rain in the past couple of days. It makes for no skiing, and that's sad.

That sucks that you got stuck.

Yeah, thankfully my husband came to get me out from work. Then with the help of 3 other guys, I got un-stuck. My husband then drove me to school in his all-wheel drive car laughing.gif

I'm panicking right now, this must be the result of sending the email plus mailing the physical ds3032 without the coversheet :( I thought the email that arrived today was anything IV bill related that i've been waiting for :(

I know there is difference between the two, no need for a dictionary....This wasn't an auto response, this was the 3rd email she received from them, ok maybe it's not reviewed yet as I know it's too soon for it to be reviewed at this point, but they don't mention anything about scanned pictures in an auto response since the computer generates that email, somebody actually looked in that package to notice the scanned pictures. Thanks anyways though :)

It could still be an auto-response. EP cases send packages to a specific email address, so they could just include that now automatically in their auto-response.

Unless you get an email that says they ACCEPTED it (or a checklist), then it's just waiting to be reviewed now.

I called NVC just now and I was told to ignore the checklist cover letter...not really too happy about it until I get the IV bill. Is anyone been waiting for the IV bill too?

Ok, thanks...I guess I have to give it a few more days and hopefully we will receive an email acknowledging they have received the AOS package as well.
