My files (i have three petitions) just arrived to NVC yesterday.

I am planning to call them every other day to confirm their entry to the system to provide operator in NVC with emails and get back IIN.

My question is about the email that i might be asked for my children.

If someone petitioned for their kids under 3 years old, what email you have provided for their DS-3202?

My guess is, it should be fine to provide my wife's email,

however i want to hear from people who actually had this situation.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it is invaluable !

I am the USC and I petitioned for my stepchildren. I put all of MY contact info on the DS-3202 and all was fine. This is just for minors, though. You could use your wife's info if you wanted.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had gone to "march 2013 thread to see if our list is still intact and I saw your name with a date. Then I started wondering what is going on so i came here believing that if there is any news, you will post it here. I held my breath until I saw your post!

OoH Debbie, you are truly blessed.

I am sooooooooooooooo happy for you. I agree with MsHogan that you are an example of patience is a virtue: not once did you nag about your delay.

I wish you the best as you continue to plan. My husband and mom already know your story. i always give them your updates :)

.

Aawwww Mrs.Ndu26 you are too sweet. I have tears from all the out pouring of genuine support I have here.

I truly believe in this journey called life whether Visa or otherwise you must celebrate and truly be happy for others that are being blessed with exactly what you want.

Trust me I be lying if I didn't wonder what was happening at times. If it wasn't happening to me I wouldn't believe it.

But I am so happy for my VJ peeps here. Every petition sent in every NOA2, approval, case complete interview date. I just celebrate with u all. It has kept me encouraged through all this.

I thank you for your kind words it means a lot.

Anyway its easy to stay encouraged when u crazy like me. And o have Darnell and Saylin to slap me when I get out of line. Hehe

Sorry to interrupt but...

Case has arrived at NVC! She didn't tell me exact date but said "the week of Feb 5" which I'm going to assume means yesterday? ugh whatever!

So on our timelines where it says NVC received should we put this date or should we put the date that we get the case number?

I searched the first two post and skimmed the FAQ before posting this, so sorry if this info is actually there and I somehow missed it. Just two quick questions!

1. I accidentally sent the DS3032 from MY email address instead of my husband's. When I got my case numbers, I gave NVC both of our email address, but in the FAQ it says you should send it from the beneficiary's email. Could this result in a denial and subsequent resend?

2. The day I got my IIN, I signed onto the payment portal to see if my AOS bill had been invoiced (wishful thinking, I know). Both bills were there with the "not invoiced" status. However, yesterday morning I got back on and the AOS bill had just vanished. The IV info is still there (my husband's name, "not invoiced", etc), but the AOS info was just gone. I assumed this was because it was being processed, but it's been the same all day today, too. Am I right in thinking this just means the bill is about to be invoiced?

Thanks for any info. ;)

You know, I checked at least four different sites outlining the NVC process before sending the email, and none of them said to attach it... but now, after I've sent it (naturally), I'm seeing some people mention scanning the actual form and sending it along with the email format mentioned in the first post. :( I'm not sure if I was supposed to attach it and am doomed for a denial, or am just being paranoid.

I just received an email from NVC to accept my choice of agent!

As a reminder, what I did was send it from my email (I'm the beneficiary) to NVC, CC my husband.

When I called NVC to see if they had received my email (at that time, they hadn't), I had my email added too (at that time, they only had my husband's).

It took 2 weeks.

I'm seeing some people mention scanning the actual form and sending it along with the email format mentioned in the first post. :( I'm not sure if I was supposed to attach it and am doomed for a denial, or am just being paranoid.

What I did was just the email (no scan attached) and it worked. Hope this helps

i guess nothing hurts if we're going to attached the formed signed by the beneficiary... don't worry, that's technical error (surely, they'll understand we're all excited to finish the process).. maybe it's not a bad idea if you're going to send them again from your husband's email...

NOA2 approved yesterday!! So I now have the honor of joining this thread!!!! The journey continues! Hoping and praying I might get a May interview!!! (Wonder what my chances are?) :D

Grats! kicking.gif

You'll probably get a case number assigned late February/early March. If you can get a case complete by end of March, then it's typically on average two months out to interview date, so your interview would be in late April/early May.

I assumed this was because it was being processed, but it's been the same all day today, too. Am I right in thinking this just means the bill is about to be invoiced?

Thanks for any info. ;)

1. It should be okay, as long as the information in the body of the email was from the beneficiary's perspective (ie: the beneficiary elected whoever to be agent).

2. It's a sign it'll be invoiced soon ;) Keep an eye on the payment portal!

Case Complete today!!!! Woot!

Now to track the package and wait for the interview to be scheduled!

Grats!! kicking.gifkicking.gif

Tracking the package is done AFTER the interview date has been assigned. Once a case is complete, it's put into queue for an interview date to be scheduled. Once that's done, only then is the case sent to the consulate/embassy.

I'm so happy you took my advice , aye? ;) Yay Debbie !

Darnell I have followed your instructions to the letter and it has been great.

Just for the next time no waiver to present at interview. Instead a "unobtainable documents" letter and request they Case complete you.

I am still floating on air. If Case complete feels like. What the heck does interview assign feel like and OMG I may pass out at Visa Approved. ;)

Thank you for all your help.
