You might want to try calling again! Our cases were received on the same day and although I know that's no guarantee that they'll be processed in the same amount of time, the guy I talked to said it had been ready since Friday. Maybe grouchy lady just didn't feel like doing her job (as per the usual) - a friendlier person might be more helpful!

Hi! :)

Called NVC and no Case # yet :( but nice lady said that it was received on Jan 21st (Not Jan 23rd as last time another operator said).

I have some hopes to get the case # by the end of this week

Oh...I have a question, we are gonna do the Mexican EP. And I wonder if it's the same as for Montreal EP, regarding to using the DS-261 form instead of the DS-3032? I have a copy of the DS-3032 already signed and scanned (I wanted to be proactive hehe) but I was reading Saylin's EP guide and I got a little confused about these forms.

THANKS!!!

Hi Saylin, Darnell and others,

I just wanted to let you know I have undertaken the following steps:

Paid AOS $88.00 (via US based joint sponsor)

after emailing the DS3032 to NVC (also scanned and sent to US based joint sponsor to send via snail mail)

Phoned NVC after 9 days (7 business ) to see if they had recieved DS3032 ((response please allow 10-20 days))

Emailed NVC after 12 days (10 business)"Supervisor Review - NVC Case # XXXXXX- XXXX- Second Time Sending" and received confirmation email from NVC within 24 hours.

I note my IV bill is not able to be selected to pay at this time and presume sign (omen perhaps??) that the IV bill will be available for payment in the next few days.

I will then send both the packages together.

If you see any issues / flaws with my logic please advise

regards,

Gab

Gab

based on yer timeline, if you sent off the ds-3032 on or after the 19th, it should get added in to the casefile circa 18 days past. IMO, if you sent it off prior to the 19th, NVC wasn't listening for it. Them finding it, if filed before the 19th (again, IMO), will be hit or miss.

It's good you sent it again, but I can't do math based on what you've written.

i used to be able to figure NVC out, for getting the DS-3032 into the casefile and then the IV fee bill popping up, but I be stumped at the moment, my mentat skills and gisting have slumped, for some reason.

Sorry, I wish I had a different answer.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
