What is anyone's take on submitting additional relationship evidence in the IV package? I didn't get an RFE during the petition process, I'm not too worried about it at the consular stage, but I'd like to hear thoughts about why or why not to include more content.

We sent extra evidence, just so that the CO can review it before we go in for interview. By the time we arrive, they should at least be aware that our relationship is genuine. I have gone through the proper channels to live with my husband in Ireland, we've had a baby, we've commingled our lives. We figure that it will just give the CO some idea of who and what they are dealing with when it comes to our particular case. Hey, it can't hurt, right? :)

False checklist. I got the same one, under the same circumstances. You'll pay the IV bill after it's invoiced (if you haven't already), so don't freak out. I can say that NOW, but I TOTALLY panicked when I saw the email.

Thanks I was told it was all accepted and then got this checklist with nothing to check and I thought I had missed something lol... Paying IV tomorrow so hopefully we will get an April or may interview :)

Well, I have discovered that if you want to call NVC, call around 7:30am EST. I left the gym at 6:30 CST and got through on the first ring. Sadly, they have no information to share and have yet to process my AOS, but oh well.

Hi everyone!

I have been out of town for a few days, but I am back!

I haven't heard anything about my DS-261, of course my IV Fee is not invoiced yet,and since my AOS approval nothing else happened. My husband has been calling NVC but he says that they only say that they received the Ds-261 on Feb 12th (When I actually filed it was FEb 6th...) and that it's not reviewed yet, but should be ready any time.

Is anyone else going through the same SUPER LONG waiting for the DS-261 review?/

WHAT can I do?

1. Don't wait for correspondence from NVC. Once the bill shows as PAID, you can send the AOS package. I never actually got any information about the AOS package from NVC. Good thing I didn't wait laughing.gif

Thanks for the suggestion.

2. *IV bill, not AOS bill. And the IV bill should be invoiced within a few days. And again, no, you don't need to wait for information from NVC to send a package.

Sorry. I just want some clarifications. The IV bill will be invoiced after the Choice of Agency has been accepted? Or invoiced with the AOS bill at the same time? I logged in to the payment portal, I see AOS bill marked as PAID but I can't locate the IV bill. Am I missing anything? Many thanks for help.

The AOS and IV are two separate tracks. Doing absolutely nothing at NVC will still have the AOS bill invoiced. The IV bill however will NOT be invoiced until you've sent them the Choice of Agent and it's been accepted.

Have you emailed the DS-3032 yet?

Again, I ask, what browser are you using? If you're not using IE, then the bill could already be invoiced but just won't show on other browsers. Government sites such as the payment portal are designed for IE and IE only. If it works in other browsers, cool, but the programmers there only care about IE (which is completely retarded by the way).

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797

Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a

record of receiving your approved petition from the Department of

Homeland Security's Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

(USCIS). To assist you in determining the location of your petition the

NVC will contact USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of

this petition. This the emailed from Nvc, Saylin have someone on vj journey got this kind of experiece. Husband call and spoke to Tier1 they say my approval petition had approximate 90 days before NVC recieved my case number and they could not locate and inform me which field office. the approval letter came from national benefit center. I dont know what to do. will just wait wait for 90 days before to follow up. its already in NVC research so will just wait on the information from them.

That's the typical response from NVC Research. If you don't mind waiting, then do nothing and sit back. Otherwise I'd suggest you be on USCIS's behind and calling them up to locate the file.

It's pretty normal. It happened to me. I wouldn't panic. It's been over a well since they received my aos and there's no movement. That's the name of the game.

Perhaps request a supervisor review.

thanks! you're right, i shouldn't panic but i can't help not to.. :crying:

Did you request for supervisor review? how long have you got the invoice from the the time they received the DS3032?
