Grats on AOS acceptance! kicking.gif

This is a country-specific thing. Look in the Philippines sub-regional forum and see what the time frames currently are.

Thank you, postedZoomButt.gif

I feel like my heart-rate and blood pressure have gotten higher ever since I started this journey. Now that we have sent in both the AOS and IV packages, I'm feeling much more nervous. How long is it currently taking for them to process these packets? Still the 2-3 weeks?

Usually just 1-2 weeks once they receive the package.

Breathe in and out, you're almost at the end ;)

I called the NVC earlier, and the sweet grandma lady informed me, that every time we call, they enter the call into the system, and why we called. She said my case is pending expedite approval, and was really nice.

Just thought I'd share.

Yup, they have a call log. I found this out when I was calling every day to find out if an interview date had been assigned. Then, on one day, I decided to call a second time, right before they closed. I got an extremely rude man saying I had already called earlier that day and they had already told me that a date hadn't been assigned, and that I should stop calling and wait until the next month. Despite nearly being in tears by his harsh tone and words, I continued calling once a day. That very same week, I had my interview date scheduled. So :Pheadbonk.gif on him.

Have been getting this error message "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information." I know it's normal, probably means they're posting the AOS invoice, but how long does this error message usually stay up? I had it all day yesterday and today it's still there. Can anyone confirm how many days they got error messages before getting invoiced? Thank you!

Hi, i got mine after 2 days. I also received email recommending to pay the AOS bill.

I think yours is on its way as well :)

Can you post the checklist? It's getting hard now to assume things without actually reading it.

The NVC sent a checklist cover letter, saying at the beginning that

"We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa...."

Then in the last page, it said NVC is waiting for an Immigration Visa application to be submitted.

I wonder if "We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant visa" means they have reviewed my AOS. (Obviously they haven't enter my IV application in system.)

Thanks for help!!!

yup, it's tricky.

that's the 'we added the affadavit of support stuff' to the casefile.

Don't sweat it. Want to be pro-active? Call INTO NVC, get a Human, train them up about EP for Guangzhou for about 2 minutes, then ask that human to detach the stuff sent in via email and attach it to the casefile.

They can't do that, of course, so there's high hope you'll be escalated to a Supervisor. Once you get a Supervisor, ask the supervisor why the IV set is taking so long to get detached from your email set and added to the casefile.

go get em !

---

reminder - you must train NVCTeleOperators about EP for Guangzhou, with each phone call. Don't accept their answer on '20 business days' - tell them you want that packet detached NOW.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hehe, I like the Human™ mark. I just sent IV yesterday (sweat~), not long enough to question the supervisor
