uscis gives room for those who haven't met in the past two years, so once that reason is justified as they (uscis) requires, they shouldn't be a problem i guess.

He cannot justify not meeting. He will be denied.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

yeah we submit petition without meeting in person...............and i am really waiting for denied...............i knew that..but actually my next topic will be.......my petition have been approved

When you submit a petition that does not qualify, it typically takes MUCH longer to process the denial. A number of people need to look at the petition as it gets sent it up for decisions. A petition sub, itted without proof of meeting CAN be outright denied, but usually will not be...and usually that decision is made a couple levels above the adjudicator, which means it takes longer and means they have a reason to delay your case if anyone asks (such as a congress person)

Typically you will get an RFE for evidence that you have met in person before the petition was filed and a detailed explanation of the law requiring you meet in person. When you do not meet that requirement (because you cannot) the petition will eventually be denied. This will take far longer than the normal processing time which is why I suaully recommend people just meet and comply with the law. Trying for a religious waiver because you are Muslim doesn't work. Nothing in the Muslim religion prevents you from meeting your fiancee in person, ever a chaperoned meeting is acceptable.

You have set yourself upfor a long wait and an ultimate denial. You can appeal the denial, which will cost $585, and after some time the appeal will be lost because an appeal simply reviews if they made an incorrect decision.

Be that as it may, you chose a particular route to follow and should really not complain about the result of your own decision.

If you really want a visa in the fastest, cheapest and easiest manner, you should withdraw this petition, meet in person and file a new one. If you just want an official mess, carry on!

Give me a break!! You should actually read the whole thread before posting and giving anyone false hope. SMH  . This guy's petitioner fiancee LIED on her letter asking USCIS to waive the 2 year meeting requirement. She said it was for cultural reasons when IN FACT she didn't go meet him because she COULDN'T be bothered to for financial/lack of dedication reasons. It will be VERY easy for USCIS to establish this lie and even if by some miracle they overlook it, the Embassy will NEVER approve his visa. Why?? Because A) there is NO cultural prohibition of betrothed meeting eachother before marriage in Pakistan, especially in inter-religious marriage and B) because the fiancee LIED.

It is IRRESPONSIBLE to give false hope to a guy like this. STOP DOING IT.

All true.

Also saying "I cannot afford to visit the person I will be required to financially support for 10 years" doesn't work too well either.

However, I am a pro-choice kind of guy and each couple has the option to pursue the route they choose to get a visa.
