You have to repeat it firmly 3 times for them to transfer you. I usually make it quite clear that I will report them for lying by saying that an ISO can't see more than them and request their name and information again. That works, except for the one I had to yell at on Wednesday.

I told them that I had been previously waiting on hold for an ISO and my call was dropped. Works if you want to avoid arguements with the tier 1 rep.

I've actually called back after I was dropped waiting for an ISO and the guy refused to put me back on hold for one...sometimes that works, sometimes not.

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I've actually called back after I was dropped waiting for an ISO and the guy refused to put me back on hold for one...sometimes that works, sometimes not.

That's really a shame how difficult some of them can be. I've been lucky enough to get really nice reps most of the time but every once in a while you get the really snarky ones with an attitude problem. I'd almost rather just make an infopass appointment at my local USCIS office. Way more helpful than the mixed often wrong information you get after speaking with the USCIS customer care line. :wacko:

Chicago peeps, I just got my mail and received a letter from the senator's office who did inquire about my case. Apparently, my case is pending assignment to an officer for processing. Their exact words. The Chicago field office is currently processing I-130 petitions filed in September 2012. We hope this information is helpful. smhh. Hopefully soon it will be worked on.
