Hi All

Finally - interview scheduled for March 1st in Bangkok -- very exciting eh?

When should I make airline reservations? I guess I must find out whats refundable in case of a delay. n

What have other folks done?

How long does the medical thing take?

Peace and wishing all who have gone throught this ordeal happy days

It is always best to buy the ticket when you have visa/immigration package in your hand. Generally Medical takes 1-2 days.

When I went with Pui back in 2011 it took about half a day and we went around noon time. I think we were one of the last people to leave so you might want to get there before that time. Good luck.

Yes it is best to wait until you have the visa approval package in your procession before making any travel arrangements. In my case, we had interview in Feb. 2008 and approved, but they called my wife several days later to tell her that our package is under administrative process. So we didn't get our approved package until mid October 2008. Because my wife was a nurse, she had to wait extra 2 week to out process from the medical center where she work. That was my experience...but who knows, your could be swift one. Good luck and take care.
