last minute questions on the packet

When I submitted I thought I remember all sorts of instructions - tabs on the bottom, no this or that.

So here I am again trying to find info on the I-751 packet.

I currently have regular tabs for the different sections of evidence with colored cover sheets.

Can I staple pages together or use paperclips?

Or leave them all loose and use one big binderclip?

Also - no pictures required this time, correct? I didnt see anything in the instructions.

Should I staple the check to the cover letter?

Also, should I send this regular mail?

Any other recommendations?

I didnt go too fancy this time, had sections separated by binder clips with removable post-it notes. I avoid stapling, instead use paperclips for small stacks and binder clip(s) to bind the whole thing to the cover paper.

I assumed the OP is referring to Passport-Size picture. If not, I take it back because I sent our family pictures as an evidence.

Yes I meant passport style pics. I know about the evidence pictures.

if i am not mistaken, on the 1-751 instructions, it doesn't say that you have to use tabs or anything like that. you can even put your package in large envelopes by titles. for exsample, all savings account statements in one envelope, all electric bills in another envelope, and so on with using paper clips. you can send or assemble your package any way you want to. i had put my documents in large brown envelopes by title and using paper clips for my aos and had no problem. i am going to do the same thing next week with my 1-751 package. as long as you have enough documents, uscis won't reject your 751 becaused the way you had sent it.

Photos are not a requirement for being approved. Just like affidavits are not.

Photos (and affidavits) comprise the evidence that is easy to, let's say, manufacture. Other evidence: bank accounts, join insurance, designated beneficiaries, joint tax returns - hard to manufacture. All 3rd party evidence of your relationship.

Don't staple anything together. They'll disassemble your file and re-arrange it the way they want anyway.

There's no sort of tabs or anything that's required. Just make it easy to go through, read and understand.

This is what I did with our packet. I Did also put my USCIS # on every documentation including my photos. So that if anything were to get lost in the shuffle they'd know whom the paper belonged to.

Perhaps we feel this way because it's actually in the guide on VJ. If you want people to stop thinking this way, my best guess would be having that bit of info changed on the guide.

Now I realize it says 'examples' but many try to get most if not all of those documents in their packet. If they're not 'necessary' then it should really be pushed that photos over other financial evidence aren't as important.You can never have 'too' much when it comes to this process.

I believe they take out all papers out of paperclips, stamps, files, tabs and put them in a folder. So.. it really doesn't matter how you put it together. I would use paperclips so it doesn't ruin the pages. Just paperclip the check to the top of the application. For picture, you can put them in a plastic bag an paper clip to the end. I would like fast mail (priority or expedited).

I didn't use paperclips, stamps, or staple wires when I sent in my package. I bought this transparent 3-ring binder pages. They're transparent plastic pages where you slide the document in. Then put them all in a 3-ring binder.

The lawyer even suggested that we print the photos in a way that it's like a story book, showing our lives together from marriage. Or something to that effect.
