That people got out of the car, so he was right to shoot. Twice. Once in the air, once at the car. Because of the assumption that they were "up to no good"

That's awfully minimalistic of you. But that's why I said everyone takes things different ways. He saw people on his property in a high-crime area and they drove at him after his warning shot.

According to the MURDERER, yes, they were moving towards him. According to the victim's friends and witnesses, they were not. You choose to believe whoever you'd like.

According to the ALLEGED killer, and the ALLEGED victim's friends (who would lie to protect a friend) yes. They claim one thing, he claims another... that's how it works.

According to the murderer, they drove at him.

According to George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin confronted him.

Same thing. The other person's dead, so they really can't confirm either story, can they?

No, there's nothing alleged about it. He murdered someone.

Obviously you know nothing about the legal process. He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He's been accused, he's not guilty yet.

If the car was being driven at him that would change everything.

Agreed. But we weren't there and the friends are going to say what they think makes them look better, as will the gentleman and his family.

Unless this guy has CCTV footage there's no way to know what happened for sure except that 4 people entered private property and one was killed.

no, the article does not say the vehicle moved in sailor's direction. the article quotes sailor's lawyer, who says that is what sailor said.

given the charges, eyewitness testimony may not corroborate that. maybe there's forensic evidence that doesn't support it either. no one knows yet, outside of law enforcement and the DA's office.

He fired a shot that killed someone. With intent to kill.

You can claim he's innocent all you'd like and I couldn't possibly care less what you think I know or don't know.

You fit in well here. Don't like someone's opinion? Question their knowledge. Works every time.

But the victim isn't alleged. The victim is dead.

No he's still an "alleged" victim because the person who shot him could have done so during the commission of a crime. That makes the person who shot him the "victim of a crime" and the person who was killed would be the "home invader that was shot during the commission of a crime".

In this country, you are innocent before proven guilty. I don't know how they do it in Canada.

There's no crime in Canada. Everyone knows that.

There is no allegation against the dead guy. Therefore, he isn't "alleged" anything. Come on, girl, take the dunce cap off.

There's no crime in Canada. Everyone knows that.
