The exact kind of person who shouldn't be owning firearms. A danger to society rather than a protector of it.

So someone who supports the rigths of citizens to protect their own property is a 'danger to society.'

Lucky for us your opinion is irrelevant and the constitution supercedes your special way of thinking. Silly Canadian.

I'm sure you'd feel the same way if Vanessa turned around in someone's driveway or accidentally went to the wrong address and got her head blown off.

It is the dead guy's fault. He drove on private property, and then when the guy with the guy was yelling he rolled down his window. I wasn't there, but I can almost guarantee you the window rolling down made the home owner think the kid was going to pull something. In that situation - you don't wait and see, you shoot to kill. Period.

What an ignorant fool.

So rolling down a window while you are pulling away is a sure sign of someone pulling a gun on you? It's that chain of thought that gets so many minorities killed.

It's that chain of thought that makes me wonder why people are allowed to have guns in the first place. That chain of thought is what gives the gun control crowd fuel for the fire. Complete ignorance and lack of respect for human life.

It's Cause/Effect:

Was the guys initial reaction shooting his gun into the air a bit extreme? Perhaps.

HOWEVER, the kid rolled down the window in front of a man man with a gun. You don't get much more stupid than that right there.

The kid didn't 'deserve' to die, but he's definitely got some fault in this.

People pull into my driveway frequently to turn around on my street. Not once has that made me think I should grab a gun and start shooting in the air to scare them away.

Those are the thoughts of the truly paranoid.

And like I said, a danger to society. Shoot first, ask questions later. Kill kids in the name of "self defense" because you overreacted.

Shooting a gun in the air because someone pulled into your driveway = "perhaps" extreme.

Rolling down a window to apologize for the mistake = "don't get much more stupid than that"

Hilarious.

In the military, we are taught the levels of escalation(sp). Before a weapon is drawn, certain criteria needs to be met. This guy came out of the house and shot in the air immediately. That scared this man driving the car. He rolled down the window trying to apologize and leave. And was shot for it.

i teach my son to apologize if he's done something wrong. hope it never gets him shot.

Apologizing is stupid. Being a lunatic with a gun is better. You should teach him that.
