I haven't looked over the other Gun related threads to say where they belong. As for this one I read all 11 pages and this thread seemed to be about a crime, involving a gun and the obvious death. I know Gun Control is a hot topic, and very much a political subject but this thread just did not fit.

I mentioned this a little while back. I am in favour of this. There is a culture (if you want to call it that) in P&R that is not the same as in OT. Indeed, P&R was created to keep things more friendly in OT. This is what I said the other week:

I've thought for a while that P&R should be re-titled "Hot Topics." Threads about sex, religion, politics and other topics likely to spur heated debate could all go there, leaving OT for stuff of milder discussion.

Problem is when you have crime in the area, that is used as an excuse to shoot first. How many people need to die before something is done?
