I have 2 questions hopefully somebody can answer for me.

First question is:

1. If i select the petitioner(US) as the agent does this mean i won`t get anything at all mailed to me? Or is there still some mail sent to me?

second question:

2. How long after sending off out AOS bill and DS3032 should we expect the next mail?

I am just curious and impatient really.

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

23rd February 2005 Married.

10th May 2005 I130 packet sent to TEXAS forwarded to Cali.

12th May 2005 NOA1 Received date.

14th May 2005 delivered at 4:34 am LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92607.

23rd May 2005 NOA1 notice date.

27th May 2005 NOA1 hits the mailbox.

13th August 2005 po po form mailed off with £10 cheque.

2nd September 2005 po po letter arrives.

3rd September a 4 week visit to GA assuming i get allowed in.

30th september 130 days on I130 and counting.

(Hopefully i finally get a wedding ring today too)

30th November NOA2 date. woohoo

January 2006 case arrives at NVC finally(not sure about exact date)

17th February 2006 IV bill mailed back

21st April case complete (sorry i have missed some dates of forms going back and forth)

2nd May case forwarded to Embassy in London

10th July 2006 visa interview 10.30 a.m.

NVC CR 1 and K3 Timeline

03/17/2005 CR-1 Case assigned number

04/15/2005 Received I-864 Bill

04/18/2005 Paid I-864 Bill $70.00

04/30/2005 Husband receives DS-3023

05/02/2005 Husband returns signed froms to NH

05/28/2005 I-864 Forms & IV Bill received.

05/31/2005 I-864 forms to NVC

05/31/2005 IV payment to St Louis, MO. $380.00

06/02/2005 USPS confirmation for I-864 NVC

06/02/2005 USPS confirmation IV payment MO.

06/20/2005 DS-230 came forwarded to husband.

06/22/2005 I 129-F approved and will go to NVC

06/29/2005 DS-230 arrived at NVC from Pakistan

06/30/2005 Both cases are awaiting approval.

This was my timeline. I was the agent in the USA but never got any paperwork once approved my husband got all paperwork from the embassy. Good luck.

You as agent didn`t get any paperwork after approval? You mean approval at the NVC? I am confused sorry.

I am the USC and the agent form was sent to me. All the agent form is if you have attorney or need the USC to be your voice in the USA. I had to forward to my husband and he resubmitted back to NVC. Once our case was completed at NVC they sent me a letter. After that time all correspondence was to my husband for his packet 3.5 and 4. Hope this helps.

Hi Yabasta,

Yes once you choose your USC wife to be the agent, she willl get all the mail from NVC.

I think NVC generates all the forms either on Monday or Tuesday only.

AOS fee bill goes to a post box in Saint Louis, and it takes a while to be entered in the NVC system.

DS 3032 ( choice of agent ) form goes back to NVC, so, one NVC enters it in the system, you next set of forms will be generated on the following Monday or Tuesday.

05/03/2005 NOA1 for I-130 CR1

10/28/2005 NOA2

NVC Timeline

11/15/2005 - NVC case number assigned

01/04/2006 - NVC completed the case... ( 50 days)

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval
