Hi I was wondering if you could explain the new family Unity law/rule and maybe answer a question and that is under this new law/rule would it be possible to bring my daughter inlaw from the philippines to the US

Might as well call it the anchor baby clause... and it is not aimed at anywhere but Mexico for sure. I would like to see something where one can petition for a family member and not have to wait 20 years that is aimed at immigration in general.

All this new rule does is reward people who overstayed, and/or are here illegally.

Relationship and I-130 Process

Sometime in October, 2011: We met online talking about Argentina.
Later in October: Met in person in Philadelphia and became good friends.
March 4, 2012: Became girlfriend and boyfriend, officially.
March 21: Gloria leaves the US at the end of her J-1 Visa.
April 9: Got engaged!
May 12-26: Chris visits Buenos Aires.
May 18: Got married in Argentina :) Happy day!!
May 29: Sent out I-130
June 4: NOA1 received.
August 17-20: Chris visits again.
September 22-29: Chris 3rd visit, Gloria's birthday!
November 11-January 5: Chris stays in Argentina almost 2 months, Gloria is happy!
December 28: NOA2 YAY!!!
December 31: Package received at NVC.
January 18, 2013: Got case # and IIN.
February 6: Case complete!!
February 11: Interview assigned.
February 25: Package received at Embassy in Buenos Aires.
March 18: Interview Approved!!
March 28: Visa received.
March 29: Houston POE

April 11: received greencard!!!!!!!

January 9, 2015: sent out form I-751

His immigration reform plan "is to give pathway to citizenship to the 11 million illegals who are already in the country." They can stay in the country legally, get their driver license and work permit...(He's keeping his promise for the votes he got to win his second term).

today in a news paper article it went on to say that they would change the wait time for people 21 and over first priority

First priority for the people who are ALREADY IN THE COUNTRY...many who are children of parents who came into America illegally & now established themselves here. They already got id cards & social security # to let them get employment.

this article went on to say also for people who processed legally and have a long wait time to bring there loved one's but it didn't go on to say just what he was proposing

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
