Met 10/2009Married 9/13/2012 in indiaFiled I-130 12/4/2012Assigned MSC case # 12/6/20122/14/2013 called uscis and on 1/30/2013 case moved from MSC to Chicago local office.4/17/2013 letter from senator durbin's office that a inquiry will be made on my case and to allow 30-60 days6/7/2013 NOA2 !!!!! while I am visiting my baby!!!!7/12/2013 letter from senator and copy of USCIS email to them stated our case heading to NVC 7/23/2013 NVC # assigned!!!!!!7/25/2013 called for Invoice identification number and had them add yash's email( Yash sent DS3032 via email nex day)7/29/2013 rec'd email from NVC with DS3032 and AOS invoice, paid today $88 mailed hardcopy of DS 30328/1/2013 AOS pkg mail via fed ex8/6/2013 AOS rec'd @NVC8/12/2013 DS3032 accepted IV invoiced8/15/2013 IV fed ex'd9/9/13 dreaded checklist asking for DS260 b/c DS230 obsolete<p>9/11/13 electronic submission of DS260 accepted

09/09/15-12/2016 ROC +interview= appproved in over a year

12/21/2016 fedex'd N-400 application and per fedex was rec'd

Congrats on your approval!!!!

I personally do not see what is so rude and cruel about posting your short timeline. Its personal choice not to read the post . I understand people are going through different challenges but we should not cut others joy and celebration just because we cannot have ours yet too.

We should laugh and cry together regardless of our personal situation. That is the right way to it.

I was shocked too when I completed NVC in just 20days and i truly wish others will have it like that too or even shorter but its beyond MY control.

My ead took 60 days but i saw some people posting just 30 days approval I was like ohhh man I am so excited that means that at anytime mine should come too! So yeah we celebrate or cry together! I am so happy for you! hope we hear from more members with approvals in 40 days! being far isn't easy and the anxiety is terrible.

Do you think that it had to do the fact that you called and talk to tier 2? I have seen in the past similar posts, they call and then later the same day, approval! hmm it sounds too much to be a coincidence!

05/03/2021 → Sent through Fedex I-485 (with I-840 and sealed I-693 and I-130 NOA1 copy) I-765 I-131

05/06/2021 → Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

05/25/2021 → Fingerprint Fee Was Received
05/26/2021 → Got text messages for I-485, I-765 and I-131 with receipt numbers.

05/27/2021 → Check cashed.

06/02/2021 → 3 NOAs for I-485, I-765 and I-131 arrived in the mail.

06/30/2021 → I485 online status update "Request for Initial Evidence"

07/06/2021 → RFIE letter arrived in the mail (I864 with 2020 tax return and w2s, 1090s)

07/23/2021 → Sent RFIE response through Fedex.

07/27/2021 → RFIE Response Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

07/28/2021 → Status update RFIE response received. Working on case again. 

08/30/2021→Biometrics notice (no online case status update)

No, it is not a coincidence, but it is not a cause-and-effect relationship. I have seen reports of people denied days after they called and filed a service request, and people for whom the service request did nothing at all and they are still waiting. Be careful.
