OMG, you make no sense at all!!! Take a deep breath first and then start using CaPiTaL letters and characters like this one . and this one , so people who read can also understand your splash of thoughts being put altogether as just one sentence!

Boggy has a history of ridiculous posts, derailing remarks. I do not recommend responding. Just read his history of posting. I tried to contact moderator due to number of incorrect advices that he/her provided intentionally and provocative posts but never got a response. Just ignore.. Again, I urge moderators to look at potential trolls. They spoiled this site lately big time. In addition, their advices may be taken seriously. Please, pay attention. This site is turning bad. I've been a member here for several years now and always found this site helpful. Never seen such a huge influx of trolls, etc.

san diego it is unfortunate you feel that way. I have not and will never purposely give anyone bad advice.

I respect the fact that you have been here a long time. It is a good thing as a lot of people will benefit from your experience. I'm here to learn from you and other senior members' experience and also to share mine as well.

And I'm sorry if you don't like me disagreeing with something. I am here for the long haul, and what you've said above about me will not dissuade me from dissenting from a view that's incorrect or not helping the OP merely because 'you have been here a long time'. Sorry, I'm not going to tow your line. And if you call that a "history of ridiculous posts, derailing remarks" then I'm sorry. I am a "he" or a man by the way.

Train of thought

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The train of thought, stream of thought', or chain of thought refers to the interconnection in the sequence of ideas expressed during a connected discourse or thought, as well as the sequence itself, especially in discussion how this sequence leads from one idea to another.

The page "Trend of thought" does not exist. You can ask for it to be created, but consider checking the search results below to see whether the topic is already covered.

Sorry, I'm not going to tow your line.

An entire thread derailed by "train of thought". Can we now discuss "tow the line" versus "toe the line"?

The phrase is "train of thought", not "trend of thought". As a British person I am the ultimate arbiter of colloquialisms, spelling and grammar. I am glad we got that straightened out.

You may now proceed with your regularly-scheduled bickering.

Please search Webster dictionary.

Google search "trend of thought". Both are there. Again, train of thought IS correct.

Hypnos, thank you for that voice of reason. I really mean well for the OP's fiance even though they're facing a huge problem. I regret the distraction that came off of her topic. That I'm very sorry for.

However, I do not apologize because someone finds my dissent offensive. That I'm sorry I don't regret at all. He and his 'friends' dislike it so much when someone dare disagree with them. They try to drown you out because someone dared to step on their toes by having a different opinion. He can make all the diaparaging remarks he wants, I will not stoop to his level. I am here to disappoint him because I wouldn't tow (toe?)his line and will continue to express my opinions. That I don't apologize for!
