Hello Everyone.

I know i havn't been posting nor have i been updating my status.Anyways i have got approved and my case now is at NVC but i have some problem. As most of you knows that the CR1/IR1 visa validation is 6 months but here in Egypt you have to apply for military first and get an approval to travel and so on, That might take around 9 months after receiving the visa so i probably wont be able to travel during the 6 months so is there anyway i can renew extend or even change the date of travel.I have thought about everything that can be done but looks like the only way will have to be through the embassy. Please let me know what can i do.

Thanks and regards

Sam

Can you apply for the approval to travel now? If so, you can delay the issue of the visa by dragging your feet while at NVC.
