heyyyy everyone!! did some more Christmas/souviner shopping today...mostly scouting out gifts :) starting to get things around more now, only about 1mth and 8 days left

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

I was having a sucky week too until last night when Aunt Flo finally got here and I was relieved of my PMS.

Noura...I took a belly dancing class a few months back and had a lot of fun! I even got myself a hip scarf. I love it..it makes the cutest noise :)

want more hip scarves??? LOL, I brought a bunch back from Egypt last time as a text msg from Noura gave me the bright idea right before I went off to the Khan el Khallili, hehe! Those suckers must have weighed 50lbs and on top of the extra suitcase of other Bellydance gear that a friend asked me to bring back from her sister in Cairo . . . I was over-weight and over-bagged, so I paid big time to leave that airport!

I have managed to spread the wealth of hip scarves around town, but I still have a few to spare since I haven't been so diligent about acquiring students. No studio like Noura.

I did managed to sell one on Sunday to a new student . . . one of the really nice ones made with rather transparent iridescent fabric and beaded around the edges . . . too nice to wear to class, IMO, but looks great for evening wear. some of those I have sold to non-BDancing friends.

How much are you selling those for? I might be interested as I have asked my hunny to bring me SEVERAL.

I have a confession, I broke the cardinal rule of fashion today. :P I'm wearing white shoes! :lol:

Do they mean one day till v-day as in it's tomorrow or as in it's Sat? I was under the impression that it's Sat. So why does everyone get off tomorrow? That's not fair! I get off on Saturday, the shortest work day of the week! And I still have to work! Everyone stinks around here! And I have to work Sunday too! I guess that's what I get for getting a second job.

ETA: I get overtime for both sat and sun though! Yay!
