How about voting? Do you think you should have to show an ID to vote?

I was actually surprised when I moved here to learn you DIDN'T have to show an ID to vote. So yes.

Agree with you there. Not sure if you were around here last year when everyone was going on about how you have to walk 10 miles uphill through 10 feet of snow in both directions to get an ID.

I don't consider having an ID undue hardship. You need an ID to do nearly anything these days. I learned that when I moved here and the only ID I had was my Canadian driver's license, and until I got something else, I couldn't do jack sh*t.

Most Dems are against the gun ownership and most of them were against having to have an Id to vote.

As I said in my earlier post and these are words of VP Biden - He himself is not sure if limiting the size of mag would do anything.

Pres. Obama wants to ban military style rifle based on the Sandy hook incident, when no such rifle was ever used at Sandy Hook.

Now are you telling me that law enforcement officers on the scene could not tell that from day one?

I can tell you Adam did no pick up shells from the floor, local, state and Fed officer no one could tell that no military style rifle was ever used at Sandy Hook... common.

Yeah, I remember that conversation. I am sure there is the rare case where it is quite difficult for someone to obtain an ID, but for the vast majority of Americans, they already have one. Because how would they do anything without it?

I haven't heard of many people who are against gun ownership at all. But before you make a "most Dems" argument, make sure that you know what you're talking about. I was never against voters having ID, but you lumped me in with people who are against it just because. Don't assume things.

You are going off on a rant about something else entirely. I'm not telling you anything, other than the fact that legal and responsible gun owners shouldn't object to an extensive background check. That's it.

I guess you dont understand wordt "most" if you agreed on the Id check than you were not a part of the majority of the Dems for that issue.

I am telling u what adminsitration wants and what most legit gun owners want.

As I said as long as the there is no registration and check is available quite readily without undue hardship to either parties most gun owners have no problem with it.

Why would legal, responsible gun owners be against extensive background checks?

There's "undue hardship" on the buyer when trying to purchase Sudafed over the counter at the pharmacy.

These don't say anything about him attempting to get a background check and being denied.

I completely agree that the whole Sudafed debacle does present undue hardship.

There have been multiple times where I went to buy it and the database was down. Without the database, no purchase, without purchase no congestion relief! :crying:

Then in some areas you need a prescription.

I don't care that you said most. You used this line directed at me:

You are ok if legit gun owner has to go thru undue hardship but you are not ok when voter has to get a simple State Id.

You assumed that since "most Dems" are against voter IDs, I would be too. Don't put words in someone's mouth if you don't know they feel about something.

This is online forum if you don't like it don't get on it you have a choice, you are the one who made assumption.

Pretty much all of your post are in support of Dems... so there was nothing putting words in your mouth, now do u expect every member on this board should know about each of your beliefs.

Yes, it would be a good idea to understand what a persons stance on an issue is before assuming what it is. That tends to avoid foolishness like this.

For someone who has a very poor grasp of the English language, you of all people should be checking and double checking what you post on here, not jumping to conclusions about what other people believe.

Learn how to speak proper English before telling someone who does, not to get on this forum.

What assumption did I make again?

Just because I support the Democratic party does not mean you can tell me what I do or don't believe because "most Dems" believe it.

I don't know everyone's beliefs, of course. It would be impossible to keep track of. However, I don't go telling people what they DO believe based on the party they happen to support. I suggest you do the same.

If you don't fit the bill of "MOST DEMS" than move on.

I need one, because I live in LA, which is like Mad Max, with extra bros and fake boobies.
