My son PD is oct 12, 2010, i filled for him in oct 2010, approval date is jan 20, 2011, i proceeded with process as requested and submitted form DS-230 in MARCH 2nd 2011, all documents has been submitted and medical exam also done. my son DOB SEPT 1 1990, he has scheduled interview this coming February 2013. is this a waste of time since his now 22yrs 4months.

According to ***removed*** calculator your child isn't eligible because you waited too long??! but his visa just became available...!! :wacko: I am confused, hope someone can help us

The embassy will determine his eligibility on the day of his interview.

Thanks, VJ family, my son was approved for immigrant visa, his interview was very brief and simple. CO only asked 1) name of petitioner, 2) when petitioner came to us, 3) how many siblings he has and if they have filled for them.
