hi good day! I am so confused right now when someone told me that the consul would not issue a visa if the minor is eligible for us passport/crba... Is this true??? Please someone enlighten me... my daughter meets all the requirements of crba, but my husband wanted to file us together in I-130 petition... Now, we're in the process of waiting our nvc case numbers.. Thank u!!

Your daughter will be denied a visa, as she is not elligible for one as a US citizen.

Why did your husband think a visa would be better??? That makes no sense- CRBA is quicker and cheaper.

Yes, you need to stop it (when you send in your papers to the NVC, send a letter explaining that you did not realise your daughter needed CRBA), and start filing for CRBA.

That is totally fine- it is normal to place the local citizenship on a birthcert.

If you fill out the forms currently on the embassy's website, you will be fine.

and about this physical presence in US.... "it's okay to have photocopy of US passports notarized by us commissioned in lieu of original." is it ALL PAGES of the passport should be notarized? coz since he's a DUAL so he needs to photocopy and be notarized his PHL passport also... and it cost $10 per seal :-(

hi good day! an update of my daughter's. i-130 withdraw.. we sent the letter and the nvc replied:

" This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete."

What is this mean? as of now we already sent our aos & iv packets for my ir1 case & waiting for case complete. does my daughter's nvc message could affect my case? i really hope not... :-(
