Hi... I just want to know how long does it take to upgrade F2A to IR1? Thanks...

-- Case Completed at NVC : October 17, 2007

-- Interview Date (IR-1/CR-1 Visa): DECEMBER 10, 2007 APPROVED

-- Visa on hand: December 11, 2007

-- CFO Seminar: December 11, 2007

-- MNL to LAX: December 25, 2007

Hi... I just want to know how long does it take to upgrade F2A to IR1? Thanks...

In my case it took less than 1 week. My case is in US embassy in Pakistan and was on F2A catagory and waiting for my priority date. I sent the proof of my wife's passport copy to embassy and they upgrade it within a week.

few days back i receive packet 3.5 from embassy.

Can you please share, where r u from and which foregine embassy you have sent your proof to upgrade your petition file..??

I am in the same boat and really want to know how long does it take..!

My file is in Bombay Embassy.

Im, Richard currently livin here in US.. I think you already gone through this situation. If you can please give me advice on what to do regarding me and my GF's situation. I still need to wait for bout 4 years for me to become a USC, I dunno if my gf and I will just wait for me to become a USC the file a K1 visa for her OR while im a LPR, ill marry her then file the I30 form and once i become i citizen, ill upgrade it to IR1. One more thing, after the upgrade is approved (from F2 to IR1), how long will it take for my GF to recieve Packet 3.5? Thanks much ate.. i'll appreciate your help.

HI, Could you please help me ? my case completed at NVC october 8 ,2010 my category :F2A but now my husband got his citizenship so we want to upgrade our case from F2A TO CR1 ,Could you please let me know how long it takes to give me the interview date?
