A K-1 visa is one with intent to immigrate and it only makes sense to buy a one way ticket. I don't know where they told you other wise, but they are wrong. Now if the airline offers a lower price for a two way ticket, then buy the round trip one, just make sure it starts in the foreign country, and returns there. You are not obligated to use the return ticket.

So just go with what costs less.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

We did a one-way ticket and had zero problems at LAX. It was a pleasant POE experience I might add.

I sent Claudeth the money to buy the ticket. She was able to get it for about $200 cheaper than what I could get it for here. Good luck
