Can a verbal & emotional abused victim wife successful grand her GC if the victim divorces the American citizen husband because the victim cannot stay in their verbal & emotional abusive marriage anymore from the American husband?

How would the immigration or the court judge this kind of situation?

Anyone who has the experience or any domestic violence attorney would like to share your professional opinion and suggestions.

Thanks

we have a VAWA section here... have a read ?

Just studying your timeline, though -

Another avenue that's available to you -

is to simply divorce,

then tick the box 'divorced' in the Removal of Conditions paperwork.

Done this way? No VAWA required.

Are you a same person as who posted this Apply for 10 years GC from 2 years conditional GC yesterday?

Are you asking this for your friend or something? (because sounds very different from yesterday so...)

**** Moving from AOS from Family Visa to Effects of Major Changes forum ****

OP, please clarify- are you talking about the AOS (Adjustment of Status) process from K1 to conditional greencard, or the ROC (Removal of Conditions) process from 2 year to ten year greencard you asked about yesterday?
