I had my interview scheduled end of december for Feb 7th....Mid January I suddenly received a letter, that the interview has to be rescheduled....a few days later I received a new interview date for the end of february....So far so good I guess, even though I don't know why they rescheduled it, if thats thats a bad sign or not....but now I read some older posts (2008) where people where in the same situation and at the end got denied because they didn't go to their original scheduled interview - US CIS messed things up I guess...Anybody had this issue lately ??? Or should I just go to the new interview date and forget about the old one....its a 3 hour drive... thanks for sharing your thoughts!

if I were in your shoe, I would go to first interview notice, what you gonna lose ?? May they will tell u the officer that he is handling your case in not here. And then you go to the second one. But, let's assume that you didn't go and there were an issue with their system, and it showed you didnt go, then your will receive a denial notice, and still you are in a good shape, because you have a proof. But it's gonna delay your application much longer. so my advice just go, and give it a shot, even if the officer is not there, somebody else would do the interview, which a lot of people who do so, they were able to be interviewed

AOS

I had the same issue at the AOS stage, where we got a notice rescheduling our interview the day before the original interview. We showed up regardless, the IO called our names, did the interview, and we passed with flying colors. My two cents? Unless it is really unpractical for you to go (such as you are several hours away from the interview location) and you prefer calling or scheduling an InfoPass to see what happened, just go. Worst case scenario they will tell you that you have to go back for the second interview. Good luck
