191 days and still no NOA2...help!

My I129F Petition was received on July 20, 2012.

On December 19, 2012 I contacted USCIS and was told I would hear via the mail within 2 weeks.

On January 7, 2013 I called back, and was told if I don't hear by Jan. 20 to call back.

When I called on January 22, 2013, I was told "it's going to be a long time." And only advice was if I don't hear in 90 days (which would be NINE MONTHS, or 275 days from NOA1), then to call back.

I am beyond frustrated, scared and my mind is racing what to do next. Would writing to congressmen and senators do any good?

Just need help and guidance and some good news...please.

Unfortunately it is just a waiting game. Patience is the key.

It took us 7 months to get approved with no glitches. Sometimes they are just that far behind. I have seen other July filers here still waiting as well. Hang in there... the worst waiting period has passed and you will hear something back before you know it!

The good news is after this, the rest goes by much quicker!
