"Getting Started" forum?

I think there should be a place identified for new people who haven't yet figured out their strategy to post questions and discussions in trying to figure out the best route through the system. People often post "K3 or K1?" type questions, or "Marry in US or overseas?", or "should I adjust status or get a K visa?". Those types of questions often get splattered around the K1, K3, IR-1/CR-1, or adjustment of status boards. Comparisons between the options aren't exactly on topic in any of the specific boards, but are sort of shared among those boards.

Do others agree? Should we have a "Getting Started" forum?

True, there's a good guide there, which should be a pinned topic if the proposed forum is created.

But despite the fact that the static guide exists, people still have questions, and they're currently posting them in various scattered places around the forums. Like all the other forums, the proposed forum's purpose wouldn't be to rehash the FAQ, but to help people figure out how to apply it to their unique situations, answer individual questions, and discuss things that change too fast to put in a static guide (current timeline comparisons between visa types, for example).
