Hey everyone,

I'm going through my pack making sure I have everything ready. I checked against the link on my letter and this website, and there seems to be conflicting info, so I'm hoping you guys can help check my pack...I have:

Birth certificate short and long version and photocopies.

Passport, do I need a photocopy of this?

2 US size photos.

Police certificate and photocopy.

Vaccination form.

I134 and proof of fiances income not mine.

Payment receipt and photocopy.

DS230 part 2 pages 3 and 4. 2 copies.

Copies of all forms from I129 pack.

Emails, Skype conversations and recent photographs together.

Is there anything I'm missing? I'm don't want to leave anything out!

Thankyou everyone for your help over the year, it means a lot xx

Thanks Nich-Nick...I have the birth cert with my parents names on it. I also have police details from a caution, detailing everything, no name change or military background, so it looks like I'm good? I had a panic earlier in the week as I didn't have the full birth cert, but I do now. What about the ds230 as it asks youto sign it in front of the clerk?

The thing you sign in front of the officer that is sorta comparable is the DS-156K. Part 2 of the DS-230 is used by spouses doing IR1/CR1 visas. The term "long form" birth certificate refers to the one with more information, ie parents' names. The "short form" sometimes used for school things in the UK, does not have parent names and is not accepted by the embassy.
