Please my wife earns $22,000 and she lives with my step son who is 16 years and still a dependent.Is her income enough to sponsor me for the Affidavit of support?Please help........

It looks like with her, the son and you that is three for the count which is $23,862 for the 2012 guidelines. She should look at a cosponsor and it should be fine. She will need copies of the last 3 years of taxes as well.

Not enough- she needs assets (savings account, property, second car etc) or a co-sponsor.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
