Since December 28 my wifes's case is complete.

My husband's case was completed on Dec 27th. We just got the email on Jan 25th for his interview date on Feb 19th. So I know that the Australia Embassy is taking around 1-2 months to schedule interviews.

2 months sounds awfully long.

I'm not quite sure about Montreal, but I would think that being so close to the US that your time would be shorter. But really 2 months is a long time. D:

I've attached an edited copy of the email we got. Hope it helps.

Also, it's my understanding that I will get my originals back at the interview, I just have to ask for them back DURING the interview. Otherwise, I'll need to start ordering new original copies.
