Presently, I have the tax transcripts of my last 3 years from the IRS. 2009, 2010 & 2011. 2012 I have not filed. I was unable to find work in 2009 due to the economy until Late September. I earned $16k in 2009 but over $70k in 2010, 2011, 2012. When i submit my last 3 year transcript (2009, 2010, 2011), I wont technically meet the support requirement. But will submitting my 2012 W2 suffice? I have a offer letter from my employer from 2009 which shows my starting salary that exceeds the required limit. But since I didn't work for much of the year, I didn't earn enough. Any thoughts? Should I be worried. I'm still employed and over the support salary limit.

The submission of the tax transcripts is more in support of showing your history of income. Your CURRENT income is what they are interested in. You'll be able to prove that with employment letters, pay stubs etc.

My husband was in about the same situation. Give them current info with some forecaste info and you should be ok.
