First they ban guns. Then knives. Then all weapons. Eventually the people are defenseless and the government have complete and total power. Then the clampdown on your freedom starts. High taxes, restrictions on travel, curfews. Your life is not your own. You are a slave to the government. You WILL obey and they know there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Forget democracy. They aren't giving up their power and nobody has the ability to rise up and take it.

Denmark has a crime rate 4 times higher than Vermont where ANYone can carry a concealed handgun. In the biggest city in Vermont you can walk safely anywhere at any time and ask for change for a $100 bill.

Denmark does not even compare to well with the Untied States as a whole. There are 17% more assaults reported in Denmark that the USA, 300% more than in Vermont. This is because anyone in Vermont can carry a concealed handgun and who wants to assault someone that may be armed? 23% of Danish citizens were victoms of crime last year (all crimes considered) compared to 21% of US citizens. Meh.

Anecdotal "evidence" of one's "feelings" are not crime statistics. Denmark is Sodom and Gomorrah compared to Vermont. Crime rates are easily looked up if anyone is interested. If not, then just go with the "made up" ones.

OK. Good that you set the record straight, Denmark is more dangerous than Vermont because in Vermont people can carry concealed handguns.. Obviously someone else thought you said otherwise.

They set the record straight, they were comparing Denmark to England where guns are also illegal to carry. Vermont is far safer because we can carry guns.
