I'm glad to say our case was completed the 23rd of January.

They haven't been given an interview date yet. Any ideas when I will receive a date? I am in the USA and she is in Sweden still, so it will be in Sweden.

Questions:

1 - Any idea what my wife needs to bring to the interview?

2 - Are there any fees involved?

3 - Will she be issued a Green Card stamp on the day of the interview so she can immediately enter the USA as a resident while she waits for the card?

4 - Since we've been apart for 2 months, I'd like to fly her here while we wait for the interview in Stockholm - is this ok? What do I need to do to allow this to happen?

Thanks everyone on this forum for the help in the past.

I suggest you ask over here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/185-scandinavians/page__st__1140

But I can tell you that 3 is a no. She'll have to wait for her passport back from the embassy by mail before entering the US.

Has she had her medicals done? If not, get them over with ASAP. The interview can be anywhere from 4-10 weeks, Stockholm is usually pretty speedy but some people have been unlucky...

She will recieve a letter from the embassy telling her what she needs to bring, if any..

You can fly over to Sweden and stay for up to 3 months without a problem. All you need is your passport and a ticket.

She will not get her visa the same day. The passport will be sent by mail and she will have it anywhere between 4-10 business days.
