Hi everyone , I'm planning to apply for 2014 lottery , but I have no idea where I can do that , I looked online but there are a lot of websites that I cant figure out which one is right and which one is a scam !!

please tell me how I can apply !

PS : I'm Egyptian living in Kuwait !

The 2014 lottery is closed, entry period for that was late last year (it takes them several months to process the entries, then start interviewing).

You won't be able to apply until October 2013, that will be for the 2015 DV lottery, as most visas given out to winners will be issued in 2015.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ you can only apply one month a year. In october. One application per family otherwise you get disqualified

Adjusting from B1/B2

Exactly 3 months from the day we got married till the day I had both SSN and GREENCARD in hand !

Day 1 01/22/2013 AOS package sent

Day 8 01/28/2013 NOA 1 received

Day 15 02/04/2013Biometrics appt letter for 2/25/2013

Day 16 02/05/2013 Succesful walk in biometrics 20 days early

Day 25 02/14/2013 USCIS status changed to Testing and Interview ready for interview scheduling

Day 31 02/20/2013 Email notification that my interview is scheduled for March 21st

Day 57 03/19/2013 EAD/AP card ordered

Day 59 03/21/2013 Interview at 10.30 am Seattle Approved

Day 67 03/29/ 2013 Greencard Arrived . Applied for SSN

Day 68 03/30/2013 EAD arrived

Day 74 04/03/2013 SSN card arrived

Eligible for ROC December 21st 2014

Not true.

One aplication per person.

A husband and a wife both can apply.

A boyfriend and a girlfriend both can apply (but to immigrate together - in case one of them wins - they'd have to get married before the interview).

The website is closed now , shall come back to it in October to apply ?

Yes.

That would be DV-2015, since sending applications to DV-2014 ended in November last year.
