So this question is for applicants in Pakistan.. Once ur i-130 petition is approved what is the next. Step? Nvc contacts the petitioner ,attorney or beneficiary with instruction package and where do we submit civil dicum ds-230 etc etc medical pcc etc or is it taken to the interview ... If i assign my petitoner he sends all the documents ?

Congrates on I-130 approval.. now NVC contact you when they get your case file & assigns a case no.

the best idea is to flood NVC with everything you have in terms of civil documents etc.

you authorize him on your behave by filling out 3032..and then submit

Birth Certificate

PCC

Affidavit of Support with W-2

Affidavit from people who attended the ceremony or know your relation (at least 2 from each side)

Education documents

Wedding & Valima Pictures (atleast 5 from each ceremony keep rest for the interview)

Proof of on-going relationship (phone logs, chat logs, skype logs or watever you have to show its in good faith)

His passport copy with a copy of entry & exit stamps

Wedding invitation card

And if you can add up anything more or get a suggestion from VJ'z

Remember flooding them with information is never a bad idea at NVC stage.

Stay Blessed

Please go over to the NVC filers thread and read the #1 and #2 post.

You do not want to wait for NVC to send you anything unless you like waiting forever.

You must start calling NVC and asking for your case #.

Here's the thread,

If by any chance you get some time off busy schedule then read the mentioned post from DWHEELS76

then go to my profile & go through my time line

so that you get an idea of what I am taking about

and what you should do in order to go for a "SPOUSE VISA"

though I hope you are applying a spouse visa of USA and not of any other country

what I said was because I have gone through the process

& ya I am serious as I should be on here

get your facts in order for the "spouse visa" first

I hope you are not expecting that Department of Immigration will come to your place

and stamp your visa at home...

NVC contact someone?

No No No! Not if you want to go fast !

Find LingChe in the wiki, read all of it.

Refactor your plan after reading .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

you should send the photocopy of your degree. if you go only by checklist for islamabad embassy then your case will look weaker. its better to send too much to them, its a very hard embassy. most people said that the officer doesn't look at anything on interview day and already made his decision by reading your casefile before interview. we also sent our degrees to the too and no problems so far, everything went very smooth.

USCIS I-130 Petition for Spouse

September 2012: Filed from abroad to Chicago Lockbox

4 days later: NOA1, Routed to California Service Center

7 days later: Transferred because of new jurisdiction

5 days later: Case Status changed to: Under processing at USCIS office

NOA2 arrived 78 days after NOA1 :)

*I-130 Approval Notice hardcopy finally received in Pakistan, the only notice that arrived.
