My Girl knows me and has seen all of me.

I just want our relationship to be healthy as in body too. Yes I'm 48 but am a professional job and I let my belly get kinda big. I have a strong heart and just needed to get back on track to getting in the gym and working out again. My girl is the best personal trainer as she tells me everyday to take care of myself and she wants me to exersize 30 minutes a day. That really isn't much to ask and it is the right thing to do.

So, I joined this health club and after cardio then circuit workouts on all muscle groups for over 1 hour 4 times a week. I'M SORE!!!!!

I know it will get better and I thank my girl for encouraging me to do this. She just wants me healthy.

Any one else had this put on them from their Pinoy?

Thanks.

Brad

My husband likes to nag me about all sorts of health issues. In particular he doesn't like that I smoke... so I tell him it's his whining that drives me to smoke :innocent:

There's a small part in the back of my mind that dreads when he's finally here because I won't be able to get away with all of my bad behavior anymore. The things we do for love...

So I think I understand why you say you smoke, but is it worth it. Just to relax when a loved one makes you a bit nervous? I'm a long ago smoker and happy to say no more smoke. A few hints; try chewing gum when he makes you feel this way. Replace the smoke with a healthier choice. PLEASE Cancer of the Lungs is getting more victums. Just try.. PLEASE. try.. I've lost too many relatives because of cigarretes. Please try and say to yourself, I'm stronger than this.

my husband's family owns a gym, and while we're in ecuador waiting for his visa to come through, he's working there and has become quite the exercise addict. granted, this is really nothing to complain about (he's lost thirty pounds since he started working there at the end of september) but he constantly nags me about going, and once i'm there, he moniters everything i do to make sure i'm doing it correctly (so as not to hurt myself, according to him). i go for an hour and a half every morning, which is good enough in my mind. i think the main problem is that he gets lonely during the long shifts, and wants me there to keep him company. the first few days i went, i felt like i was dying, but now the satisfaction after going is great! :star: there are worse addictions he could have, i guess, so i'll put up with it. :P

Hi Brad, my fiance (USC) is 200++ lbs, he's a big guy, and found his belly kinda big too and really conscious of that. But him having a belly flab is not really big deal for me. I actually loved it, makes me hug and cuddle him all the time like a teddy bear!! But he hates it HAHA. I always tell him that I love him no matter what but it would be awesome if he will take care of himself too.

He works out because it's his choice. He goes to the gym for 1 to 2 hrs and will call me later on that he's body is SORE to the point he can't even walk!!! With that, I'll compliment him that sore body means he did a great job!! To keep doing it often until his muscles are stronger.

As for me, I want him to be healthy and take care of himself, like your girl does, I also encourage him to work out. I even advised him to maybe stop drinking (he's alcoholic) or just drink moderately if he can't stop, as alcohol and beers is the #1 factor in big belly. But he said he will just work out hard HAHA. (I guess he really can't stop it).

That means Brad your girl Loves you Too much. ;-)

Well dude, my father was alcoholic and his liver suffered extensive damaged from alcohol. I'm just afraid that it might happen to him in the future, my fiance is aware of it :-) Even you still don't mean sound judgmental, well you really does HAHA. We have our own stories. Sorry man.

So I think I understand why you say you smoke, but is it worth it. Just to relax when a loved one makes you a bit nervous?

I don't actually smoke because of him, I just say that to antagonize. To be fair, he's waaay too fond of blonde jokes. I started smoking because that was the rebellious thing to do when I was a teenager, and I continue because frankly, my life spends a lot of time sucking. It takes the edge off. Yes, I know it may kill me someday... but so might the department of transportation in MD.

I seriously almost died twice today sliding on roads that they didn't bother to salt until 2 hours AFTER evening rush hour. A mere inch of snow, and even the major roads are covered in slush. I used to laugh when they called off the schools down here for half an inch of snow (I grew up in PA where they won't call off for anything under like a foot). Now I've realized they're not total wusses, they just have idiots managing the roads.

he'll drink three or four cans a day sometimes!

If I ate the way my husband does, I'd be a balloon. I soooo envy male metabolism. On the other hand, I cringe to think what the grocery bill is going to look like when he gets here.

It's terrible.

I used to live on 25/week for myself.

Now, I spend about 75 to 80 a week and I know it isn't enough.

We're scrounging around for food 2 days before grocery day but it's all I can afford.

My father was an alcoholic and so was his friend and they supposedly raped my little sister.

So I think you can see where my judgement comes from.

Sorry to hear about that.

It does not sadden me.

Like I said "supposedly"

Personally, I think my sister is a bipolar liar.

My father is entirely too stupid to do anything like that.

Especially when he's drunk.

That would be like accusing a 7 year old of rape.

Now, the friend?

I've always thought he was a total creeper, so I would believe that part.
