hi, im really need some advice.

1- im been a legal resident for 12 years, im planning on sending my US citizen application in the next months.

2- i want to bring my 16 year old daughter

3- i was married in my country but got divorced last month ( she was in my country and been separated a few years, and we both have new partners). i have a 2 years child with my new wife of three years.

the questions are. im planning on marrying my new wife. will it take longer if i ask both my daughter and wife. or should i ask my daughter first and then my wife.

i really want to bring my daughter as soon as possible. should i wait until i became a citizen to ask my daughter or file now?

can my daughter apply for a visa and come visit or better to wait (i dont intent her staying with the visa just coming like for a holiday).

i appreciate all your help and am sorry if a asked a questions already asked.

If you only divorced last month your 3 year old marriage is not valid and will cause you a lot of heartache if you apply for citizenship. Plural marriages is a big no no. As to your daughter , you can file now and upgrade if you become a citizen. If you mean your daughter is 3 years old , then both are immediate relatives and take about the same amount of time.

Become a USC first, than file for all of them. You need to state your current situation correctly, if she is not your current wife hen don't refer to her as such. In order to be given correct responds to your questions the facts must be stated correctly.

i tried to be as clear as possible. thanks for the advice. my main concern is if it wont affect that i ask for my daughter and soon to be wife at the same time. or if i should ask my daughter first and once the petition gets process fill the application for my soon to be wife.

thanks for all your advices .
