does anyone know if this girl is intersexed in anyway?

about 1 out of every 100 live births are intersexed at some level.

there are also chromosomal abnormalities that make placing a child in a specific gender very very difficult.

No it doesn't. But I don't like the stereotype that homeschooled children are socially awkward and mentally behind regular school students. I am pretty sure that by 11, Sadie knows what body parts she has and what they do.

I never said nor implied that home schooled children are socially awkward or mentally behind other students, I merely mentioned my perception that it doesn't provide the same opportunity to interact with other students of their same age and level of maturity during the school day. And, if Sadie wants to be a mom and thinks she's a girl maybe she's not so clear on that body part thing.........

Does anybody care? Let's just make fun of her instead.

So if Sadie grows up and wants to live her life as a woman, and even if she can't physically have children, if she adopts she wouldn't be a mom?

All she said was she wants to be a mom. That's it. You're assuming that because she said that, she thinks she can give birth to a child. Biological mothers are not the only mothers.

Jesus, it gets better:

Sadie socially transitioned from male to female in kindergarten. She was home schooled until this year and is now in fifth grade and attending public school. A vegan, she loves anything that "protects the environment," as well as reading, swimming, basketball and texting her friends. She listens to Lady Gaga, Pink and Justin Bieber and wants to work for Green Peace when she grows up. She also wants to be a mom.

Wow she figured all that out on her own at that age. 10-1 she has moon bat crazy parents, who are molding her to be the super storm of politically correct nonsense.

My six year old niece, out of nowhere, decided she didn't want to eat animal products. She was molded by nobody, and it lasted maybe six months.

I assume that's the part you're talking about, anyway. That blurb made her sound like every other 11 year old out there.

Of course not, but it is irrelevant for this discussion. It is obvious the intent is to pass judgment on this little girl, and for that matter her circumstances are immaterial.

That's a rhetorical question, right?

At this point it is very clear she can only live her life as a woman and become a mom, once she is fully vetted by some participants of this thread. Someone had better tell her so she can begin the application process...

I don't think anyone is passing judgement on the little boy. At least I'm not. I'm passing judgement on his parent, If you want to call her a parent.

I'd say her parent definitely has something to do with it, especially at AGE 5!!

Just to clarify, I don't doubt the little girl realised she was transgendered at the age of 5. I do think that 11 year olds should not be pimped out for their parents' political ends, even if those ends coincide with my own beliefs.

If I am wrong, and this does come from Sadie herself, then more power to her.

No, it wasn't. You're hung up on the fact that she said she wanted to be a mother. Why? Because she can't biologically have children?

Or is it because she was born a boy but identifies as a female?

one post removed for denigrating a protected class. if you feel the need to pop off with something that adds nothing to the conversation, i suggest trying facebook's farmville.

another post removed for taking that member to task. do not violate the tos by responding to a tos violation with one of your own.

further posts derailing the topic, hijacking the thread, or other posts that don't add constructively to the op will get the hammer.
