Stop confusing yourself. If you are to get through NVC and get case complete you must submit originals or certified copies of originals.

Your police certificate has nothing to do with your medical. I believe London EmbaSsy folk can have medicals done before they get interview letter.

Be sure when you see peoples post and what they are saying you look to the left under their name and see what they are filing for.

Good luck.

Hi,

Thanks, i think you'll find a police certificate HAS to be taken to the medical in London which happens before the interview and you dont get an interview letter until you've had the medical, i've just been advised that a photocopy is accepted at the medical though, so yes it does have something to do with it.

When reading in the UK forum please think about who is DCF and who is doing the visa path that you are.

YOU will be sending your DS-230 and your originals to the NVC. THEY will send it to the embassy when you have an interview.

Applications processed by the National Visa Center In New Hampshire - If your sent NVC your documents, they will have been forwarded to the Immigrant Visa Unit together with your application. All that you will be required to furnish on the day of the interview is your passport and three color photographs. However, please review the Document Checklist before attending the interview. If any of the documents were not sent to the National Visa Center, you will be required to obtain them and present them on the day of the interview.

For the London Embassy you have to bring your police certificate to the panel physician at the time of the medical. But you should check with those 2 physician's websites to see if you need the interview letter to book a medical or not. In Canada we have to have the interview letter to book the medical. It does vary by country.
