Hi! Everyone! Im new in this site. I will have my interview on monday. January 28 at the us embassy manila for k1 visa. The recent income tax return of my fiance is 2011, but i have his employment certificate just this january 2013. I still dont have the income tax return of 2012 because my fiance said that they file it last week of january. His income tax returns were filed every february of the year. For those who had their interview this jan 2013, did the consul ask you for 2012 income tax return? Ur replies are greatly appreciated. Thank u

Yes.., i have all of it. How was ur interview? Also in the affidavit of support, is it okay that he signed it using blue ink? Will it matter?

I know somebody who was interviewed yesterday that was given 221g for her fiance's 2012 w2. but I think if your fiance's salary is above poverty line that should not be a problem.

My interview went well today. I did not have any problems. Blue ink is better to see that it is original. You will be fine. :thumbs:

Being that your interview is before the end of January deadline for employers to even issue the W-2s I can't see the CO wanting the 2012 tax return, plus the deadline for filing a return is the middle of April. I wouldn't stress about it.

We interviewed on Jan 7th with only the 2011 transcripts and had no issues
