Hi! I had a quick question about listing my address on all the forms. I am an international student in the US and I live 2 hours away from my boyfriend. We are getting married in February, but I am only going to move in with him after I am done with the semester in the beginning of May, and we want to file the papers right away. Should I just do a change of address on my driver's license and submit my address as his place instead of the place I am renting now? Or should I just do a change of address in May? I go over there on weekends generally, and more than half of my stuff is already at his place. I just dont want it to be considered fraud or anything.

I had exactly the same problem the only difference was that my husband was living in a different state. I put his address on all the forms and only on G-325A where asks for your last 5 addresses I listed the address where I was actually living and also attached a letter explaining the address situation and asking to any notification to be sent to his address. Just keep in mind that then the biometrics and interview will be scheduled in the office close to where he lives. In my case I could get the biometrics appointment letter with him and do an early walk in in the office close to where I was living but for interview I had to come close to where he was but by then I was already living with him. Good luck!

if you were and you were in the US, in your i-130, did you fill out the question that asked for your address abroad? Because I currently live in the States, but I am not sure if they are asking that if you are currently living at that address abroad, or they just want the address where you came from

Yes I was on F-1 visa and still had one more semester to finish college my husband was living in California and I was living in Wisconsin. I listed his address as my address in all the forms that asked for an address and only listed my most recent address in Wisconsin on G-325A and then added the letter explaining why I was living in Wisconsin and he was in California. On I-130 question #18 I listed my husband's address again and on #19 I listed my address in Brazil. Let me know if you have any questions!
