Hi,

I am a little worried that I have received my NOA1 for AOS and have a receipt number, but online case status says it's not on the system. I then called the 1-800 number and put in the receipt number there but this also told me the number was not valid.

Anyone else had tthis experience? Should I be worried?

Dave

some people have had a lot of problems with case status... just keep checking if it shows up and also with the work they are doing to the new site atm, I would presume that might slow some thiings down as well.....

sometimes it does take weeks for people to see their case status.

I would not worry too much - in my experience the system simply sucks. In my case it has not changed for quite a while, even though I've had my biometrics taken and already have my interview date.

When my fiancee was petitioning for me, the system realized that we were approved a month or two after we got out NOA2. To their credit, they sent us several identical emails to compensate ;)

Dave,

Mine didn't show up after the interview. (I called the 1-800 number too and was told the number is not valid) So don't worry about it.

Thanks for the responses. Good to know they suck!!!!

I actually spoke to a PERSON today on the 1-800 number and she told me it might take 30 days. She probably didn't have a real answer so just plucked a timeframe out of her.....erm...the air!

Thanks again

Dave
