Technically this will NOT be consider a "RED FLAG" not everyone wants to get married in DR for different reason, secondly NOT everyone knows about DCF and the requirements that need to be meant for DCF, Lastly it is clear that what's on the CO's mind is not the fact that she doesn't have an income because that isn't the issue here, the question came about because of all her traveling, In my opinion there are people who have saving money, unemployment, credits or even family willing to help with some $$ so you can travel, It's clear that its the logic that if I gave birth I add the father to the BC and that is what blew off the CO to send them to fraud unit, So what's really going on in her head is if this is the father and that is his child why isn't his name on it? That right there can be a "red flag" but she explain why he wasn't and also provided the supporting documents to show he was added, BUT that it would take sometime! all states and laws are different.

Its clear that the CO problem isn't the income, But the fact that the childs father is not on the BC and has probably doubts and that why DNA was requested. As for them not even considering asking question of there relationship is not necessary as she had traveled plenty of times, is currently living out there with her kids, and has them in school, so what more proof then that to the CO that the relationship is ongoing?

Exactly, but even the fraud unit guy was like why did she send you guys to me and told her that if she (CO) did not believe the child was my fiance's to have a DNA test done and did not feel there was any fraud and was like he did not need to speak with us and sent us away. The CO never said anything else about the DNA test just that she wanted to look through our case file because there was a lot of information in it. Well yeah I sent, everything but the kitchen sink.

First of all, take a deep breath. I know from experience that being put in AP is a horrible feeling, as my husband was put into AP at his interview(I was there at the interview like you were). The fact is your daughter belongs to both of you, you know it as fact and the DNA test will prove it. When I was interviewed by the CO he also asked how I paid for 4 trips back and forth to Jordan in 8 months, I answered honestly, and he posed the same question to my husband and my husband answered honestly, as well. I have heard of others having to show documentation of how they paid for trips, so be prepared to show that just in case, we were not asked. As soon as they review the DNA test and all of the documentation I am sure you will be fine. My husband had AP for 10 weeks, we were never given a reason for it, but he has been here with me safely and happily since October. Just try to carry on with life as best as you can, for your own sanity. Good luck and keep us updated!!!

Thank you mimolicious, I have already informed my mother to get her statements in order just in case they ask. It is good to hear from other that have went through the AP and made it out in only a few month.

OMG don't worry it is approved. I must ask was the Co who sent you to the fraud investigation unit happened to be an older white american male in window 25. He was ours and sent just about every other couple when we had our interview we had to go thru the same thing. But Thankfully evrything worked out fine. so will yours.
