hi everyone

i was married to my now ex husband since 2010... things fell completely apart and we decided to get a divorce. this was all before my conditional green card expired in August 2012. Divorce was unfortunately finalised after the conditional GC expiration date. i filed for removal of conditions a few days before GC expired. i got final divorce decree a few days after. so basically, divorce wasnt final til after i filed for removal of conditions.has anyone been through this type of situation? My ex husband does not want to assist by giving a letter to say we married in good faith, but i do have a joint lease on an apartment, tons of photos, joint medical and dental insurance and joint bank acc statements. Please help. i'm very anxious about this :(

Did you file joint tax return?, get the IRS transcript and submit as well, submit bank statement spanning the last 2 years, some pictures, if you travelled with him submit some proof such as hotel invoice, airline reservation etc, utilities bills in name of both, or some bills in his and/or in your name. Write down your own affidavit stating how you met him, got married and divorced(not more than 5 pages). Get some notarized affidavits from friends stating your relationship was genuine.Good luck.
