I have been checking my husbands visa status on www.ceac.state.gov. They recieved passport Jan 18 and yesterday  Jan. 22 his case was updated this is what is says :

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you already have an interview appointment scheduled, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Present your appointment letter at your interview, if you do not, you will be turned away. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.

Im confused now. does this mean that my husband has to go to another interview??? I thought that they were going to send the passport back with a visa. I called the Ciudad Juarez Call Center and the lady told me to wait a few days and see if we get something at DHL, she said it could be anything. It could either be my husband's passport with the visa or it could be something else

Is there a way to know if the visa was issued? I just want to know what I'll be expecting at the DHL.

Im so ready for my hubby to come home

I am not sure how accurate that site is. My husband has been here in the US since October and his status says "Your visa has been printed. Depending on local procedures at the location where you were interviewed, your visa will be mailed or available for pickup soon. If there are further questions, or if we need updated contact information, you will be contacted."

I would email the consulate and ask. Good luck!!!
