how long did yours take?

We had a "special case" so it was actually expedited. When I spoke to one of the two officers in the Algerian embassy back in September they were a good bit behind on APs. There is only one guy pushing that paperwork. :blink:

With that said though there is no way to determine how long it will take. If it is a matter of standard background and security checks it can vary based on his name, if it is similar to any on a watch list, etc. all kinds of different factors come into play. She did say their goal is to complete standard APs in 6 - 8 weeks however there is absolutely no guarantee at all. It could be much sooner, it might fit that time frame, it may be a good bit later. This is where the final stretch of patience comes in. I know it sucks, but look how far you have come! Just stay positive and hope for SOON! :star:
